Brace yourself! If you have been looking for Network Marketing Lead Generation Tools online there is a good chance that you have been overwhelmed with responses. Lead generation tools come in every conceivable form. Social networks, video marketing, articles, MLM training coaches, list builder programs, and the list goes on. Take 5 simple steps to avoide costly mistakes.

There is no shortage of training and special programs about marketing and lead generation. In fact, one of the biggest problems is the endless stream of marketing and list building solutions…..all claiming to be the best.

So how do you wade through all of the offers that claim to be the best, the fastest and the biggest money makers? Let me start with a list of 5 steps that will help you sort out the good from the bad and help you focus on the effective vs. the ineffective or out dated tools.

1. Decide what you want as a foundational approach:

There are two primary paths to developing streams of income online. “Online Marketing” & “Marketing Online” are two different things.

Online Marketing:

Online marketing is the practice of using a variety of tools and strategies to build your primary income form a wide range of products and services. There are a growing number of people who are turning to the internet to establish multiple streams of income. The goal in online marketing is to develop multiple marketing campaigns that generate income 24/7 with little or no personal interaction.

Marketing Online:

Marketing online involves a primary business that is the ultimate focus of your marketing efforts. Many of the same lead generation tools come into play, however, the goal is to feed your prospects into a funnel that leads to your primary business. You are marketing a specific business using the internet for your sales and marketing strategy.

If you have an MLM opportunity that you are building you are simply developing and monetizing the prospects that you will ultimately direct toward your primary business.

Marketing online is a great combination of high tech and high touch interaction.

2. Determine the best fit for your skills:

A lot can be said on this subject. Let me divide this in two categories. “High Tech” & “High Touch.”

High Tech:

The High Tech marketing approach involves online systems and strategies that can require a fairly high level of technical skills. Some people thrive on the details and the more complex online strategies. The caution for the technically inclined is to remember that the ultimate purpose is to generate income and remain proactive in developing relationships.

High Touch:

There are some incredible systems that have been produced for those who would rather build relationships than computers. Video and article marketing are generally a better fit for the high touch folks. The social networks can also be powerful avenues to develop new marketing strategies.

3. Establish a Budget:

Building a business online without a budget can be done; however, it will take a lot longer and require a more difficult learning curve. The good news is that a relatively small budget can produce some great results with some careful planning. You will want allow for both routine monthly costs as well as one time purchases for training and special promotional programs. A general business rule of thumb for a marketing budget is from 8 to 10 percent of your overall budget.

4. Allow time for research:

Knowledge is power. Sales and marketing strategies continue to evolve. The top income earners spend as much or more time researching as they spend doing production work. Getting noticed online and staying up to date on the latest lead generation tools requires an ongoing commitment to research.

5. Take action.

It can be very easy to get involved with the training and preparation details and loose valuable time in the process of establishing your online presents. The best way to get acquainted with new ideas is to put them to work ASAP. Don’t be afraid to make some mistakes. Lack of action will insure that you make no mistakes and you will also make NO Money. Failing to take action is just plain wacky.

“Network Marketing Lead Generation Tools” can be found “Ala Cart” with no particular plan or system of application. You can also enjoy a comprehensive training system that provides a step by step approach to building an effective online business. I recommend the following link to more information on this subject. Complete Online Markeyting System. Just add your information.

I have also produced a training video of the same title.

Keeping It Simple in Network Marketing

Do you ever feel like you are in a hail storm of ideas, promotions, “One Time Offers”, best deal of the century, explode business with 50 simple steps, and million dollar bonuses. I’m not taking a cheap shot at legitimate offers, but I am recognizing the potential for complete overwhelm from the sheer numbers of solutions to create an overnight success in business.

There are some great programs that are working well when done correctly. The challenge is in picking the right programs, learning how to use them, and being consistent in your effort. I have examined some programs that look like they might have some real potential, only to find that they are so complicated that I can’t wrap my brain around them.

The challenge in trying to promote a business is finding the audience that wants or is interested in the offer. How do you reach people without bugging your friends and relatives? On one hand person to person marketing in your sphere of influence can and will work for some people. However, far more people are left with a garage full of product and an empty bank account.

With a glimmer of hope that all is not lost you turn to the internet where millions of people can find you. The only problem is that you are among the millions and you need to find a way to be recognized. Here is where the brilliance of some young gurus have blazed a trail and made it possible for ordinary people to stand out.

After months of research I have examined hundreds of offers, lots of bogus schemes and a few real gems. The interesting reality is that the best of the online systems are relatively simple while they require a consistent effort. The goal is to monetize the masses and profit from the prospects.

Attraction marketing is the process of drawing attention from a large audience, filtering them into a funnel system and rendering prospects that are ready, willing, and able to, at least, consider your offer. The other objective is to provide a simple system that your prospects can grasp. The exponential growth of a network requires an easy to follow system that can be passed from one person to the next.

Leverage is another key component. You need to invest a relatively small amount of time in a way that will multiply itself as it gains traction in the market place. As I see it you have two choices. You can spend a few years learning the secrets of the top income earners, or you can invest in the systems that they have produced and save yourself a lot of time and frustration.

The more complicated the process, the longer it will take to produce real results for the average person. Keep it simple, keep it profitable.
Avoid being overwhelmed and build something that works and that you can pursue because you enjoy it. Have a “BLAST.”

Budget –Leverage – Action – Simple – Triumph.
Establish a Budget, Leverage your time and your finances, take Action, Keep it Simple, and Triumph over all of the obstacles.
For more information on building your network effectively go to http://www.skipmcnutt.com

Glenn Beck Claims Jeopardy for Business Opportunities

Glen Beck tells us that our government is out of control, spending is unsustainable capitalism is in grave danger of being a thing of the past and unimaginably hard times could well be in our future. Others say that all of the spending is needed to change things and there are too many ultra wealthy people, we need to spread the wealth and take control of business and finances.

This is not a Political message or an attempt to generate fear. Regardless of what you believe and whether you are Republican or Democrat, capitalist, left, right, or in between, the reality is that our economy is changing. The business landscape is changing and we are currently seeing businesses fail, and large corporations cutting back with 30% to 40% loss of business.

What is the point? The point is that owning you own business, just showing up at the job everyday and having some investments on the side no longer represents the kind of financial security that it once did. People are looking for answers to secure their financial future. It is not just about lots of money, big houses and fancy cars. Financial security, safe investments and secure income resources are the key issues of the day.

Network Marketing, although misunderstood and often misrepresented in its earlier years, offers a real solution. People are taking control of their lives and looking for ways to take charge of their financial future.

Network marketing provides a platform for doing business that is sustainable regardless of the changes in the economy. The network marketing business opportunity has the most efficient risk reward component of any other business model.

Today there are more sophisticated online business promotion systems than ever before. Anyone who is serious about taking charge of their income and their financial security can make some choices and take action.

I did my home work, I made some choices and I have found a path that works for me. I don’t believe that everyone will make the same choices that I have made. That is perfectly okay. However, I am providing a link so that you can find some answers that might work for you as well.

I discovered an online system that manages all of the technical issues. All that is required is a step by step process of entering your information and letting the system produce the web sites, emails and other important elements in the system.

With a consistent effort on the part of anyone wanting to build a business, it is completely possible to build an income stream, on a part time basis, that will exceed the income that you would otherwise generate on the job.

Glenn Beck and all of the other TV news sources are casting a view point, both of what is, and what could be. I chose to cast a vision of what can be if we step up and take charge of our own future. You can let the tide sweep you away or you can ride the wave to a secure financial future. This proven online marketing system, combined with a growing network marketing business opportunity, might just be the answer you are looking for.

MonaVie Black Diamond MLM Compensation

Network Marketing has always held a great attraction to me. The real attraction however is not singularly focused on the money or the “stuff” money can buy. The benefits of network marketing have more to do with general quality of life.

Everyone wants to know that they have made a difference in life. I remember that time when I was young, a very long time ago, when I had some big ideas of what life would be like someday. The problem is that the someday that I have experienced is nothing like what I envisioned as a youngster.

It seems that life gets in the way and jobs take over a large part of daily living. Jobs have a way of eating up time and returning a limited income in return for the hours spent. The formula is not very favorable. The more hours you work, the more money you make, The more hours you work the less time you have to enjoy the life you can now pay for. When you work less you have less income to enjoy the extra time you have. It just doesn’t seem fair.

The dreams of my youth were reignited when I took a close look at the MonaVie Black Diamond MLM Compensation plan. I saw a great deal more than dollar signs. I saw time freedom, I saw travel, and I saw a real opportunity to make a difference. The possibility of working my way up to Monavie Black Diamond didn’t seem like an impossible dream. Ordinary people were climbing through the ranks at alarming speed. Monavie Produced One Billion dollars in sales within the first three years of doing business.

The world of network marketing has always represented an opportunity to make the work I do today count for the days to come. Residual income is an income stream that continues to flow with or without your assistance. If you have a network marketing business that means that you own a business network that generates cash flow with the sale and consumption of a product or service. The key words here are “You Own” the network. The primary difference between traditional brick and mortar businesses and network marketing is the minimal investment up front. In addition the work force is independent as a opposed to employees that require pay and benefits.

The product, the timing, the management, the compensation and the cause that MonaVie supports in Brazil were all convincing components that add to the attainable goal of MonaVie Black Diamond. All that being said I realized that I would still have to build a network of distributors. I now know that my initial concerns were without cause.

What a Nightmare! Is Network Marketing Always So Hard?
Consider all of the people who signed up in a network marketing opportunity because the product looked good and someone made it all sound so easy. On one hand network marketing does not have to be so hard and on the other hand there is work involved. If you are first timer it is easy to become overwhelmed and under trained resulting in frustration and failure.

Let’s be honest. The free lunch deal that everyone is “TRYING TO SELL” is not so free, and you may not like the menu. There is work involved. You may or may not like the kind of work you are getting involved in. YOU HEARD THIS HERE! Network Marketing may not be your cup of tea. Sure anyone can do it. The question is “Does everyone want to do it?”

Here are some steps to follow to help determine if this is a good fit:

1. Try the product. If the product is good, lives up to its promises, and seems like something you would enjoy representing, that’s a good thing. HEADS UP! If you do this right you will never have to sell anything. I cover this in some other articles in my blog. Keep in mind that having a great product that you believe in is a must.

2. Check out the company. Are they young enough to have their major growth ahead of them and old enough to have worked out their start up problems, and proven themselves? Are they currently in the top ten network marketing companies and continuing to grow?

3. Check out the Compensation Plan. Do they have multiple bonuses and sources of income built in to the plan? The new generation binary programs seem to have the advantage with just two downline legs to build.

4. Do you have to handle product? There has to be product sales to generate an income flow. However, you don’t want to have to handle a lot of product, or have mass quantities on hand to do business. The only time you may need extra product is if you are building your business face to face with your contact list. While this method still works, it can be a real deal breaker for a lot of people.

5. Can you market this product online? Most products and services can be marketed online if you have the right marketing strategy. The trick is finding a proven strategy that is the best fit for you.

In my experience I found the product that truly got me excited. I got a very good start by building my network face to face. It was hard but I did it. I then ran out of warm market and found it very difficult to maintain the momentum that I had established. I went into low gear and, while I continued to receive income, I quit trying so hard to convince others that this would work for them. After a number of months of no growth I began an intensive search on the internet for the solution to my problem. I still love the product and believe in the company. I just needed a better way to go to market.

I found a bunch of answers. Everywhere looked I found the magic bullet, The BIG DEAL that I couldn’t live without. Then I discovered the funded proposal and the most popular delivery systems to make it work. If you don’t know what a funded proposal is don’t worry. It’s not complicated and you will get the picture soon.

Here is the bottom line. I found a system that works for me and I am busting at the seams to share with everyone. However, not everyone wants to know and I don’t have time to share it with everyone. So this is what I do to develop my business. First, I started by entering my information in a pre- built, proven system. Next, I write some blogs and some articles. (Not that hard if you learn a few tips). I submit my articles online. (There is an awesome program that broadcasts the article submissions to hundreds of article directories). When I actually talk to someone they have already demonstrated an interest in what I am doing, and I simply supply the information they need. There is NO SELLING, or trying to convince anybody of anything. If they don’t want it now, that is just fine, NEXT! I wish them well and move on.

That’s it! – It’s real, it’s simple It works. Check it out at http://www.skipmcnutt.com.

There comes a time when you have tried everything to get ahead and you begin to lose hope. I was thinking about this subject and recognizing the seemly endless stream of people that I have watched as they stepped away from their dreams.

I share the following thoughts on my face book page. “It doesn’t matter how bad you are if you want it bad enough. You can’t let your inexperience hold you back if you have a goal to pursue a great opportunity. You will get better if you keep the best in mind. Get passionate about your purpose, and keep purpose in the process. Refuse to loose, go for your goals, and don’t let the dream stealers take your God given vision to live the life He paid for. Have a Blessed Day!”

Dreams and visions should be treated as a treasured gift. Your dreams cannot be repossessed, the government can’t take them, and no one can steal them if you refuse to let them go.

You came into this world with no physical possessions and you will leave this world with no physical possessions. Physical possessions can neither give you status or take it away if you focus on the things in life that matter most. The things that have the greatest shelf life and that really matter at the end of the day will come in the form of what you have been able to contribute to others.

Consider the person who, at his funeral, is remembered for his impact on the lives of others. He may no longer lay claim the possessions that he left behind, but he can still be credited for the difference he made in the world he leaves behind.
My favorite quote is by Zig Ziggler. “You can have anything you want if you help enough people get what they want.”

What do you want? How would your life look if you were able to achieve the goals and dreams in your life? Maybe it’s time to dust off some of those dreams and breathe some life into the visions that once gave you hope.

Today would be a great day to start!
Check out one of the things that I’m doing to build something of value. http://www.skipmcnutt.com.

In Network Marketing the “Quick Fix” is no good unless you learn how to survive.

Everyone wants the “Quick Fix” in our microwave society. We read the testimonials of those who tap into the big bucks in just a few short months and we get all excited. After a few months go by and we have fallen short of the goal we tend become disenchanted and ether quit, slow down or look for another solution.

Is the quick fix really the fix we are looking for, and is it really quick? Quick is a relative term when compared to the time line of the traditional job. Those who are serious about fixing their current situation must recognize that “Quick” must include enough time for a learning curve. There is no long term fix without an initial and ongoing investment in knowledge.

You can join the endless list of people who have jumped on the road to success for a short trip to failure or you can take enough time to determine where you are going and what you will need to know to make the journey.

Success in network marketing is not a solo act. Steady progress requires ongoing training from a reliable source. Friends do what friends do. Make friends with successful people who can model the process of building a solid business.

Good News! There are people and systems available that will provide the step by step requirements to build a successful, long term income stream. You can also combine the learning process with the practical steps needed to generate income.

Most network marketing opportunities attract distributors because of a strong product offer and the promise of “Big Bucks”. Unfortunately all too many people slip away because of a lack of up front income and a lack of hands on leadership to support the long term objectives.

More Good News! A well planed online training system will provide an opportunity for funding from the first day forward as well as the effective leadership you need.
There are two sources of leadership that make it possible to establish a steady, financially rewarding, and long term success in network marketing.

Source #1 – The Network Marketing Company you work with.

The company you work with will, or should, provide product and systems training. Product knowledge is important as a part of your personal belief in the value of the product that you represent. Your company will also provide information that will help you navigate the operational / administrative components of the business.

Source #2 – The distributor force of the Network Marketing Company you work with.

Successful network marketing distributors are, without question, the best resource for training in the “How To” of building a financially viable network. It is important to note that these leaders can come from numerous different companies. The processes for marketing the opportunity are basically the same regardless of the company or products represented.

Some of the best training materials will come from independent distributors that represent different companies and products. There are a growing number of leaders who have become widely recognized for developing powerful online methods of marketing.

Take Time:
Take time to look at the whole picture. Seek and recognize the proven sources that you can learn from as you develop your personal leadership skills for building a successful network’

Take Action:
Take action on the lessons learned. You can get trapped into a long term learning process with no income if you fail to take action. It’s better to make some mistakes while you earn, than to make nothing while you learn.

Learn how to begin making money today with a proven 5 step system of attracting qualifying and monetizing leads for your business. More Information at http://www.skipmcnutt.com

Leadership is a function of being out in front, demonstrating the methods required to successfully market and grow a business with vision and inspiration. It is not enough to hope that people are going to jump in and make your business prosper. People need an example to follow. I once heard a great quote; “If you think you are a leader and no one is following you, you are simply out for a walk.” Another way to look at it is to say that no one can follow you if you are not going somewhere that represents a worthwhile destination.

Let’s take a look at each word in the title of this article for a better understanding.

Leadership:

One of the best examples of making a difference through leadership is in the story of the McDonalds Corporation. The McDonald brothers were very successful in organizing and building a new, innovative method of providing food service. They were able to rethink the whole kitchen setup for mass production and efficiency. They learned how to streamline the menu and create a destination dining experience. They were very good at what they were doing, however they failed when it came to real national expansion. It wasn’t until Ray Kroc entered the picture with vision and leadership that they were able to breakthrough to the next level.

Ray Kroc had vision and the ability to inspire others to come together as a team. He blazed a new trail and gave birth to the “Fast Food” industry as we know it today. Ray and the McDonald brothers were able to demonstrate how to perform the basics with the added benefit of vision and inspiration.

To be a leader you must:

1. Be teachable.
2. Be persistent and willing to perform the required tasks.
3. Have a vision that you are willing to share.
4. Be an inspiration as you encourage others toward success.

Marketing:

Marketing is the process of knowing who will identify with your offer, developing your image, positioning yourself to be seen, and connecting with your target market.
SUV automobile commercials on television provide one of the best examples of effective marketing. The prime market is the family and the sports enthusiast. The image is of people having fun, televised sporting events is the venue, and the commercials always end by telling the viewers where to go for the best deal.

Growth:

Growth is the natural byproduct of combing personal effort with vision and encouragement. Growth is not something that you can force. Growth kicks in and begins to take on a life of its own once you have attracted or developed other leaders who will replicate the example that you have demonstrated.

Delegation:

When done correctly, delegation should be the process of trusting others with the same opportunity that you have been given. Delegation is all too often misunderstood. Many people assign the dirty work and undesirable activities to others because they don’t want to do it themselves.

Delegation, at its best, builds others into leaders. The more leaders that you can effectively inspire, the greater the growth and ultimate success of your business.

Isn’t it interesting that you always learn more as the teacher than the student? This may sound a little twisted, but stay with me here. When you approach a subject with the mindset of a teacher you tend to learn more through that mental process. As for myself, I break the information down more thoughtfully in an effort to simplify the material for the purpose of communicating with others. When I look at information as a student I simply take in the information and hope that it will stick.
Why is this important? I believe, or at least I would hope, that we are all growing in some way. I have been very active in developing my business through online marketing and writing articles. There is a scripture that has been on my heart that tells us that freely we receive freely we give. (Matthew 10:8)
There is something to be said about receiving with the intent to give. I believe it has to do with our basic design. We are created in God’s image and as such, if God is a giving God, then it stands that we are created as givers.

Attraction marketing relies on a process of reeling in followers based on the effectiveness of the bait. Perhaps we need to consider the quality of the information we are using to cast into the sea prospects as well as our techniques. Continuing, for a moment, with the fishing theme, not all fly fishermen are created equal. They may use the same bait but some know how cast and some don’t. Some fishermen catch their limit and others limit their catch.

The answer we are looking for may not be found in the content of the free information as much as the integrity of the source. I believe that the answer is based on a well defined purpose of the messenger. Does the messenger have a fundamental intent to genuinely make a difference in the life of the subscriber? Think of this as a catch and release program. We can catch em, eat em and throw away the bones or we can catch em, and release em, to prosper and do good things.

It all comes back to the old saying “I don’t care what you know until I know you care.” The “something for nothing” message wears a little thin once reality hits and you find yourself with more expense than income. Hype is available in abundance. What people are seeking is hope not hype.

I don’t personally see any great problem with the concept of “Attraction Marketing.” The approach may vary as the market evolves; however, anyone in business is looking to attract consumers. So the question is “What do you have to offer beyond the bait?” There is a lot of information that can provide a track to run on. Some of the information is packaged in newsletters or ezines, or manuals or in random articles. We all want good, current information. More importantly, we need a viable source of information backed by someone that can effectively support the application of what we have learned.

There is a concept floating around that suggests that all we need is to keep reselling the same information until the consumers get the picture and begin using the information. It is perfectly valid to recognize that there will always be those individuals who never advance beyond the consumer stage. For the “Treadmill Consumer” there will never be enough content regardless of the quality.

There are two things required to get people off of the treadmill and on the desired path. The first thing is a motivated commitment to do whatever it takes to get it done. The second requirement is the mentor who can provide the model for taking action. It is useless to gather tons of information with no action. On the other hand minimal information with action and purpose can produce great things.

If we are going to be in the “Attraction” business we need to provide some genuine mentorship to those who make the connection. This is where personal substance kicks in. If all you have done is gather and redistribute information, you may be in trouble. If, however, you have established personal purpose and integrity that others can trust, then you can earn the right to lead others.

It is not enough to have products and opportunities to sell. Lord knows there is no shortage of “stuff” for any and all consumers. What we need is people, who are willing to put themselves on the line, take their eyes off of themselves and focus on the needs of those whom we can serve.

Caution: There will always be those individuals who will suck the life out of you if you let them. You will never build an effective network made up of unmotivated followers. To be clear, I’m not knocking those who choose to follow. In fact we need followers. I am specifically referring to the requirements to build a large, active network. You are looking for leaders or people with the potential to become leaders. Some people are ready, willing and able to step up and make it happen and some people are not.

So, to the subject of attraction marketing- Yes? No? Maybe? Of course, we will always need to attract fellow marketing enthusiasts. Maybe we can place our focus on “Relationship Marketing.” Not much is going to happen until we begin to build relationship. This is where the rubber meets the road. I believe that the motivation and drive behind the message we offer is often more important than the information itself as we move forward to build relationships.

What do you think?
